Talking Therapy Retreat
Talking therapy is an effective treatment, which involves talking to a trained professional about your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
The aim of Talking Therapy is to:
- give you a safe place to talk to someone who won't judge you
- help you make sense of things and understand yourself better
- help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them
- help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act.
Talking therapy can help with a vast multitude of personal issues. These include talking and helping you through difficult life events such as bereavement or divorce, or relationship problems you may be facing. It can help with present and historic traumatic experiences and difficult emotions such as grief, guilt, anger and low self-esteem, as well as depression, anxiety and chronic health issues.
My Police and Home Office approved qualifications, training and practical experience, has been extensive and I have certainly seen a lot of life. And of course, I have also lived a lot of my own life. I am proud to have received 3 Commendations, in recognition of my work with victims and vulnerable people.
The average price for a one to one Talking Therapy session in the UK, is £50-£80 per hour. The retreat that I have devised in conjunction with Marieke, is a fraction of that price. So how am I able to deliver a personalised Talking Therapy course, that is so much cheaper than anywhere else? My reasons are simple….because I can, because I want to and most importantly, because Talking Therapy is the gateway to healing and I want everybody to be able to access it; whoever and wherever you are.
I know for some it will feel like a huge and scary step, to commit to a retreat like this. But you're reading this and you're thinking about it, so well done for recognising that it may be time for change.
Don't worry about a thing…just get here, and we'll take care of everything else.
